Although Chow Kit Lun would like to accept the role but Jay supposedly due to scheduling problem cannot take it. His management company expressed that Jay will release a record in August and its promotion and production should be busy until the end of the year. The real story of the Montblanc gala in Shanghai
NOTE: In March it was reported on this blog that CYF attended a fashion event in Shanghai. This is the whole story as reported on The Star.
Chow’s association with Montblanc dates back to 1998, when he was invited to open their Hong Kong store. Among his prized possessions – for sentimental reasons – is a wallet (“with no money inside”) from his wife. “My wife is my most precious possession,” he replied tongue-in-cheek to a questioner, “but she is not an antique.” Video Video #2 Thanks to Bund on The Yin and Yang of Chow Yun-Fat forum and ent.sina.com Pictures

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 to be released in May of 2007
Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean 3" sails into theaters May 25, the start of the four day Memorial Day holiday weekend. The first film in the franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," opened July 9, 2003 to $46.6 million and wound up doing over $305 million. The second episode, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," opens this July 7 and is expected to be one of this summer's biggest hits. This third episode is directed by Gore Verbinski, director of the first two blockbusters. Having shot the third one along with the second, Disney now has a tremendous advantage in being able to have its "Pirates" franchise return to theaters as early as next summer. Jay Chou wins award and is happy on "Armor" set
http://china.sina.com.tw/ent/s/h/p/2006-04...9371044187.html
Right after the HK Film Awards, Jay flew to Shanghai as spokesman for a product and he gave a short interview.Jay Chou said, “ I felt that the best director award should have been given to Andrew Lau. It was a pity. Yes, I am a bit selfish.”Before the awards was announced, Jay said that he at that moment had only a hope but was not totally confident. “Making a movie is not like making music. The confidence is not as great. Besides I am afraid of disappointment, especially when I am the type who loves face.”When the presenter announced Jay’s name, he leap from his seat. “The first thought was that I had to share this with my family and I know that from this award onwards, my path for movies would be smoother.”From Initial D to the City of Golden Armor, Jay Chou has participated in large productions and his start is quite grand. “Up till now, I have kept the excitement in film making. This excitement was only there when I first started making music. I know that now when I make music, I couldn’t get that feel any more. So I am going to treasure even more this excitement for film making.”Entering the set of the City of Golden Armor, he was nervous. “It felt like from not having been prepared and went ahead and acted. The first shot – that moment, my chest feels hollow.” Luckily he could adapt quickly. “The moment I started acting, the feelings came. With Gong Li and Chow Yun Fat, we coordinated very well. Especially Fat Gor, he is especially funny and the atmosphere on the set was very happy because of him. Everyone is like a family.”Music and movies, one is Jay’s family treasure, the other is an unexpected surprise. “In music, the most important is the acknowledgement by the fans. Even though I had not won the New Comer Award in music, luckily in film making, I got it. I felt it is balanced now."
